What we check, every year
A cleaner's profile only goes live when every check is done, and it's hidden the moment one runs out.
Identity
Passport or photo ID, and their face matched to it.
Right to work
British passport, or a Home Office share code.
DBS check
A criminal record check from the last 12 months, or kept up to date on the DBS Update Service.
Five years of addresses
With proof for each address.
Training
Safeguarding, COSHH, manual handling and our own certification.
References and insurance
A character reference, and public liability insurance where required.
Clear prices, set by the cleaner
Each cleaner chooses their own hourly rate. We add a booking fee of 10% (minimum £3), and you see the total before you pay. Cancel free up to 24 hours before.
Everything happens in the app
Book, pay, message the office, follow your cleaner on the way, see before-and-after photos and rate the clean. Cleaners clock in on site, tick off your checklist and get your sign-off.

Questions people ask
Who are the cleaners?
Independent, self-employed cleaners who live locally. Before anyone can take a booking we check their identity, right to work in the UK, National Insurance number, five years of addresses and a DBS check, take a character reference and make sure they have passed our safety and safeguarding training. Every check is renewed each year.
How much does a cleaner cost?
Each cleaner sets their own hourly rate, usually between £12 and £45 an hour. We add a booking fee of 10% (minimum £3). You see the full price before you pay, and you pay nothing if no cleaner accepts.
How do I pay?
By card in the app. For bookings in the UK you can also pay by bank transfer, or pay your cleaner in cash on the day, where offered. Your receipt is emailed when the clean is done.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the clean. With less notice, half the cleaning price is charged because your cleaner kept that time for you. Online bookings also have a 14-day cooling-off right.
What if I'm not happy with the clean?
Tell us in the app within 48 hours, with photos. We'll arrange a free re-clean of the areas that weren't right, or a fair refund. Your cleaner is only paid once you confirm the clean, or after 48 hours if you don't raise a problem.
